Chuck Irons joins GEW’s sales team

Irons career, spanning over four decades, has been focused on sales and sales management in commercial, newspaper and digital printing, dealing with printers and OEMs, primarily in web offset print, for brands such as Contiweb and Goss International. 

Robert Rae, managing director of sales at GEW, commented: ‘Chuck’s skills are an excellent fit for GEW as we expand our reach across North America. We already have a commanding position in label and narrow web, but Chuck will focus on building our share in sheetfed and web offset. We have superb, market-leading UV and UV LED products that offer the perfect solution to these markets, both in terms of productivity and cost, and Chuck is ideally positioned to capitalize on this.

‘Chuck will spend time at GEW headquarters in North Royalton, Ohio, while being primarily based at his office in Neenah, Wisconsin. His responsibility will span North America and he is focused on delivering solutions to our customers. He will also be supporting our existing customers and partners in the sheetfed offset industry and is ideally positioned to support their sales efforts more effectively than ever before. Irons has been a member of the Web Offset Association for over 40 years and has served on the board of directors for the Book Manufacturers Institute. He has a bachelor’s in business administration from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
