Coveris appoints new CFO

Coveris has appointed Jörg Schuschnig as chief financial officer with immediate effect, replacing Markus Petersen, who is stepping down from his role for personal reasons.

Schuschnig graduated with a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business as well as the Business School of St Gallen and developed a wealth of experience acquired over the last 20 years in financial and top executive leadership roles, most of them in the packaging industry with Mondi and Mayr-Melnhof. He was most recently CFO and COO of Bene Group, a company specializing in designing and furnishing modern office and working environments, and CEO of its holding company. He also holds various board memberships.

Markus Petersen, former Coveris CFO, will leave the company at his request by year-end.

Recently, he has also been instrumental in closing our ESG-linked refinancing.
