DataLase, part of the SATO Group, has appointed Paul Dustain as executive vice president of sales and marketing, Commercial team.

DataLase, part of the SATO Group, has appointed Paul Dustain as executive vice president of sales and marketing, Commercial team.

Dustain brings over 20 years of sales experience to the role and will promote the company’s photonic printing and case coding products globally.

Previously operating in the defence and commercial sectors for 37 years in the global sales and business development of photonic and optical technologies, Dustain understands the potential of the business and the complexities of the retail print and labeling market.

Dustain said: ‘The unique innovations behind DataLase make it an exciting proposition for the market. My role will be to take this technology and help brand owners use it to unlock new heights of consumer engagement. Packaging customisation is fast becoming a pivotal platform for retail, as businesses seek to build engaging brand experiences.
