Domino strengthens digital printing team in North America

Domino has promoted Gary Peterson to the position of variable data solutions manager, digital printing, North America, with Emily Kroll joining the company as account manager, digital printing, North America, as the company continues to grow and invest in resources for its digital printing business.

Emily Kroll joins Domino with more than 14 years of experience in the label and packaging market

Kroll has more than 14 years of experience in the label and packaging market, with the last seven years being spent in digital printing. she served as a business director at Durst Image Technology US for the past four years, where she was responsible for sales, marketing and business development of its label and specialty packaging division. Previously, she held sales management positions with Colordyne Technologies and Memjet. This experience gives Kroll a strong background in both water-based and UV inkjet printing technologies. Prior to that, she spent several years in the thermal transfer industry holding various positions at IIMAK.

‘Domino has worked hard to establish itself as the market leader in UV inkjet printing, which is evidenced not only be an expanding customer base, but also by the amount of dedicated resources it has invested in,’ commented Kroll. ‘Domino is clearly committed to the label industry and I could not be more excited to be part of this growing organization.’

Peterson is a 16-year veteran at Domino and previously served as an account manager for digital and commercial printing. Following his promotion, Peterson will now lead the company’s efforts in selling its core digital printing monochrome products that speak to the growing demand of variable data applications.

Peterson said: ‘Our customers find that being able to provide variable data printing solutions for their clients has been a true value-add, a unique way to expand their customer base, and a way to differentiate themselves from their competitors while adding profitability to their business.

‘There has been an increased demand for variable information in logistics, food safety, track and trace, promotional gaming and marketing, commercial printing, and labels and packaging. The creation of this position will provide a dedicated resource focused on serving this growing business.’
