Esko promotes Eddy Fadel

Esko has appointed Eddy Fadel as vice president and general manager of its packaging suppliers business unit

Esko, a global provider of integrated software and hardware for the packaging and labels markets, has appointed Eddy Fadel as vice president and general manager of its packaging suppliers business unit.

Fadel will be responsible for business operations relating to packaging converter and premedia tradeshop customers worldwide. This includes sales, services, product management, R&D of the Esko CDI, AVT (print inspection), and all sales and service activities for the expert packaging and label software.

‘I am as proud as I am thrilled to have been given the responsibility of leading this fantastic team, and I look forward to collaborating with them as we continue to develop solutions that help our customers overcome the many challenges they face today and will face tomorrow,’ said Fadel.

‘This is an incredibly exciting time for our business, as we flex and demonstrate our agility to evolve to meet the needs of an ever-changing market landscape,’ added Fadel. ‘I am delighted to take on the role of VP and general manager as we continue to develop integrated software and hardware solutions that achieve our goal of digitizing, automating, and connecting the go-to-market process of consumer goods. After what has undoubtedly been a period of market uncertainty and volatility, I am looking forward to taking the business forward as we underline our clear focus on delivering innovations that support our customers along their digital transformation journey.’

Fadel joined Esko and Danaher in May 2017 as regional business director for EMEA South before being promoted to EMEA VP in June 2018. More recently, he became VP of commercial Esko suppliers in November 2021, overseeing global sales, services, marketing, and product management.
