Stefan Hunkeler joined the company in 1999 and managed the Hunkeler Group as CEO and delegate of the board of directors until January 2016. Michel Hunkeler moves up from his position with overall responsibility for sales and marketing. He will now take over the operational management of the globally active company from his brother Stefan. Stefan and Michel Hunkeler own 100 percent of the share capital of the group.

Further, Michel Hunkeler is transferring overall responsibility for marketing and sales to Hans Gut, who is also taking over the responsibility of Erich Hodel, director of sales for America/Asia-Pacific, who is leaving on April 1 to join partner company Hunkeler Systeme.

Franz Hunkeler is retiring from the position of chairman of the board of directors of Hunkeler Group as of February 1. He has held the position since 1990, and will still remain available as a member of the group’s board of directors.

These promotions are part of Hunkeler Group’s succession planning process.
