David Muncaster adds US sales role to his responsibilities to his role at JM Heafrod

Muncaster joined JM the company as director of operations and business development in 2016. Since then he has implemented initiatives to improve efficiencies both internally and externally, with an emphasis on creating new opportunities for Heaford’s customers.

‘David’s contribution to the company has already been significant,’ said Sally-Anne Heaford, managing director of JM Heaford. ‘Since joining the team, he has helped bring about major efficiency and developmental improvements while putting systems in place to ensure they maintain momentum. In recognition of this, it’s logical for him to work with existing and new potential customers in this large segment of our business. Our North American customers can rest assured he will be driven by their best interests, and I know that the benefits will be felt by the entire Heaford user community worldwide.’

‘As we continue to make great progress there is an obvious synergy between my role in operations/product development and the diverse US market,’ said David Muncaster. ‘North America is our single biggest market overall and has our largest installed base. At the same time, it also encompasses the widest range of production setups, going from vast and very complex operations right down to “mom and pop” outfits. In getting to know those customers more closely I am gathering insights that feed directly into new product development.’

Muncaster takes over his new role from Sally-Anne Heaford, allowing her to focus on the business as a whole and its global positioning. For most customers, these changes will have no effect on their day-to-day sales contact. US Flexo Solutions and Canflexographics continue to represent Heaford in the US and Canada respectively.
