Leadership changes at Avery Dennison EMENA

L-R: Burak Sabhaz, VP of sales and Noel Kasmi, VP of marketing at Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials, EMENA

Avery Dennison’s Label and Packaging Materials (LPM) division in the EMENA region has made two new key appointments effective June 1, 2021. Burak Sahbaz has been appointed VP of sales, succeeding Noel Kasmi, who is now VP of marketing.

Sahbaz will use his extensive experience in sales and marketing at Avery Dennison to continue pushing the next levels of customer-centricity.

‘Innovative, sustainable and intelligent solutions represent the way forward,’ commented Sabhaz. ‘The pace of change in packaging technologies is speeding up. We have both the understanding of customer needs and the range of innovations needed to meet their requirements and challenges successfully and to help them grow profitably.’

Noel Kasmi will be driving the overall marketing strategy, accelerating and developing sustainability and long-term innovation for the future of packaging, focusing on moving the company’s ecosystem 360 initiative forward.

‘These appointments reflect our determination to leverage learnings and insights cross-functionally, so we can accelerate the development of innovations and sustainable solutions for our customers,’ said Hassan Rmaile, VP and GM for Label and Graphic Materials EMENA. ‘The broad and in-depth experience Burak and Noel have gained across many segments makes them well-positioned to help realize our ambitious goals over the strategic horizon.’
