Nim-Cor announces appointments

Nim-Cor, an internationally recognized manufacturer of air shafts, chucks, bowed rolls and related web processing accessories, has hired Kevin Hellrigel as the company’s new general manager.


Hellrigel is a seasoned manufacturing executive with 15 years of executive and managerial leadership experience. He is supported in this role by a strong background in manufacturing and engineering, including a B.S. degree in industrial engineering and an MBA in operations management. In his new position, Hellrigel will apply his skills in innovation engineering and lean manufacturing in support of Nim-Cor’s extensive product line.


Nim-Cor has also promoted senior engineer John Ritchie to engineering manager. As senior engineer, Ritchie pioneered the in-house winding of carbon fiber tubes at Nim-Cor. He will now direct the company’s engineering department and assist with custom engineering of air shafts, bowed rolls, core chucks and related web accessory products. Ritchie brings ten years manufacturing composite products for use in aerospace applications to his new position. As a certified engineer, Ritchie holds degrees in mechanical engineering and materials engineering, specializing in metallurgy.
