OKI announces new leadership team

OKI Europe has announced a series of new senior appointments to lead the company, as it adapts to changing market needs.

The company will increase the focus on its Industry Print technology and aims to enhance its Vertical Solutions portfolio, by providing businesses with tools allowing them to adapt to evolving customer engagement tactics such as using print to embrace social media trends and improving customer experience.

To help achieve these goals, OKI Europe has appointed new deputy managing director, Marzio Gobbato, reporting to Dennie Kawahara, who continues as managing director. Gobbato held a series of senior positions within the print industry including Samsung and HP, across a wide variety of geographies.

Based in OKI Europe’s EMEA headquarters in the UK, Gobbato will ensure sales and marketing across the region is fully aligned with the company’s global strategy. Regional teams will report directly to Gobbato who will focus on improving collaboration between marketing and sales, as well as increasing co-operation between country organizations, OKI Europe and OKI Data Corporation.

New appointments also include Chiharu Asai as vice president of Corporate Planning, Susumu Miura as vice president of Operations and Special Projects, Koichiro Fukano as vice president of Operations and Shu Watanabe as vice president of Industry Print.
