Omni Systems promotes Andrew Macek to president

Omni Systems, a thermal label converter in Cleveland, Ohio, has promoted Andrew Macek to president. Previously, he was chief operating officer.

Prior to joining Omni, Macek spent his career in a variety of manufacturing operations positions. He joined the company in 2011 as COO. During his time with Omni, he has developed metrics for improved efficiencies and industry-leading process improvements.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the company’s financial and operational performance, along with planning for future growth.

Omni Systems, is a 100 percent debt-free company, recently upgraded by Dun & Bradstreet and included on the 2016 Inc. 5000 list. With Macek’s help, Omni has been recognized as a leading manufacturing company in the United States. Omni is also a 2017 Evolution of Manufacturing award winner.

Macek brings more than 30 years of experience in the medical, cutting tools, MRO, and retail fields. He is a graduate of Ashland University, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management.
