Prasenjit Das joins MacDermid

Flexographic platemaking and printing technology provider MacDermid Graphics has appointed Prasenjit Das as cluster senior sales manager for South Asia.

Das brings over 20 years of experience in business development and channel management across the printing, packaging, and textile industries.  
 
He comes to MacDermid from Apex Asia Pacific, where he served as vice president of marketing for Asia and the Middle East, initiating, developing, and executing the region's business and strategic marketing plans. His new role at MacDermid will include implementing and managing the sales activities, identifying new market opportunities, and defining the actions required to bring a new dynamic to our business and generate new growth in the South Asia region.  
 
Jesper Bringstrom, vice president of APAC for MacDermid Graphics, said: ‘I am confident that Das will excel in his new role and will help transform our sales operations to best serve our customers and meet our strategic goals in our growing South Asia market.’  
 
With the appointment of Prasenjit Das, Rahul Dwivedi will move into a new role as cluster senior business development manager for South Asia. Both Das and Dwivedi will be based in India and will report to Jesper Bringstrom.
