Quantum Design builds KTI sales team

This has seen Derek Wheeler promoted to vice president of sales. Wheeler has been with Quantum Design for over 12 years, starting in the shipping and receiving department before moving through sales, general management and into his new position. He will oversee all sales activity for the company’s five product lines, including KTI and CTC.

Directly related to the KTI and CTC product lines is the appointment of Nicole Dhuse and Steve Reynolds as sales account managers. Reynolds will cover the Midwest and Dhuse the West Coast. While Reynolds has been with KTI for more than 24 years as service manager, Dhuse is a new recruit with a ‘vast background in sales’.

Eric Lynch has also joined the sales team as sales engineer, having previously worked as production supervisor.

They join the existing sales team of Robin Sherlund (East Coast) and John Mitchell (Southwest and international sales).

The team’s main focus is stated as being to ‘interact with our clients in a timely manner’, driving product knowledge and customer understanding.

Wheeler said: ‘With Steve and Eric’s extensive background with our equipment and Nicole’s sales experience, I know our team is stronger than ever. We are excited to be able to promote from within and ensure our customers get the best customer experience we can offer.  The sales team we have put together is strong and talented, and we look forward to continuing to grow and improve our existing product lines in order to further help our customers.’
