WPO announces global ambassadors

Global ambassadors are vocal representatives of the organization, spreading its voice, reach and positive impact.

WPO board members appointed as global ambassadors are vocal representatives of the organization, spreading its voice, reach and positive impact, building new connections to generate opportunities for the organization, to engage new corporate partners, and to support the promotion of the WorldStar Awards, among others.

‘Ambassadors are bold and strategic packaging leaders in different regions and appointed as key WPO representatives spreading our message and supporting us on strategic connections and opportunities to raise the voice for packaging on a global level,’ said Luciana Pellegrino, president of WPO.

The new WPO Global Ambassadors for 2024-2026 are: Ahmed Alex Omah (Nigeria) of the Advanced Institute of Packaging Professionals of Nigeria and African Packaging Organisation (APO); Chakravarthi AVPS (India), a pharma entrepreneur and a member of the Indian Institute of Packaging; Iva Werbynská (Czech Republic) of the Czech-Slovak Packaging Institute (SYBA); Silvio Colombo (Argentina) of Argentinean Packaging Institute (IAE); and Tuti Buntaran (Indonesia) of First Packaging Asia.
