Australian converter wins at World Label Awards

Impresstik Labels, headquartered in Sydney, was recently awarded international recognition for excellence in technical print achievement at the World Label Association Awards, (WLAA) the global competition in which five continents currently participate. To compete for a WLAA award, companies first have to win a prize in their own local label awards competition.
The Australian award was presented for the family-owned Robert Oatley Vineyard’s "Tic Tok" range of wines from Mudgee, north west of Sydney. James Oatley, grandson of current owner, Ian Oatley, design the labels which were printed on Impresstik’s offset label press
on Arctic White bright uncoated stock and double laminated to give thickness and a quality feel, Impresstik’s Mark Easton reported.‘The labels have debossing on the clock image as well as screen printed spot varnish areas and gold foiling’, he added.
Meanwhile, Impresstik announced the launch of its online label art gallery, providing its customers with an express service for design and printing by enabling them to select from a library of label designs and order the printed labels online.
