Avery Printer Systems signs exclusive supplier agreement with QuickLabel

A distribution agreement that equips Avery Dennison Printer Systems with a new line of advanced care labeling systems is expected to benefit apparel manufacturers and retailers who are seeking an alternative full line tag & label sourcing option. The agreement, with QuickLabel Systems, adds the AP CareLabel 2/1 and AP CareLabel 1/1 two-sided care label printing systems to Avery Dennison’s product offering.

According to Avery Dennison Printer Systems marketing director Mark Hansinger, the agreement establishes the organization as one of just two full line tag & label suppliers to the apparel and retail industries.

‘Avery Dennison now offers all tags for all garments,’ reports Hansinger. ‘The ability to supply systems that produce variable copy on both sides of care labels had been a gap in our product line. Now, care labeling has become a strength. The new two-side systems complement our existing high-speed 64-bit label printers for single-side care labeling.’


The new AP CareLabel 2/1 produces variable copy and symbology in two colors on one side and one color on the reverse; the AP CareLabel 1/1 produces one color on each side.
