Belgian converter installs Omet’s X-Flex

Belgian converter ASQ Labels is the latest company to order an Omet X-Flex press.  The award-winning X-Flex, which will be installed at the company’s plant in Lummen early in 2009, is a 430mm wide, 8-color press fitted with UV flexo and rotary screen print units. It will also have Omet’s new Vision-1 system for high register accuracy.

The machine was described by ASQ’s management as ‘the best printing press on the market’, and will run in a production environment which has seen company turnover grow from 0.5 million euros to 7.5 million euros in ten years. ASQ converts a variety of labels, tags and flexible packaging on both paper and filmic based substrates.
