Bunting Magnetics appoints Weldon Celloplast as agent

In an agreement signed during Labelexpo Asia 2007 in Shanghai, Bunting Magnetics, based in Newton, Kansas, USA appointed New Delhi-based Weldon Celloplast as its sole and exclusive agent for its magnetic products for the printing industry.

Bunting Magnetics produces a range of magnetic products for the printing industry, including magnetic cylinder, embossing cylinders, print cylinders, anvil rollers, metal decoration cylinders, hot stamping bases, flat bases, etc. The company also offers a broad line of permanent magnets and magnetic equipment for industrial use.

‘We are looking at India as a huge emerging market and our association with Weldon will enable us in taking our products to the end users effectively,’ says Michael Wilks, director of marketing and sales, Bunting Magnetics.

Weldon Celloplast Limited, based in New Delhi, was founded in 1982 by Harveer Singh Sahni, and is a producer of a variety of customized self adhesive label materials, specialty tapes and security labelstocks.

‘This association with Bunting Magnetics will help us offer world class magnetic products to our existing customers in the printing industry,’ said Pawandeep Sahni, operations director, who will be spearheading the marketing of these products. Weldon has set up a separate marketing division to offer international consumables and accessories to narrow web label printers.
