Burall announces redundancies as reorganisation proceeds

In preparation for moves to a single site, Burrall in Wisbech, UK, has announced between 25 and 35 potential redundancies. Consultation with employees is now underway.

Burall’s packaging and label printing operations include both reelfed and sheetfed facilities.  Although all printing is carried out in Wisbech the business currently operates from two sites.  Last year the Burall Group announced a strategic re-organisation.  Now further steps are being taken towards the ultimate goal of relocating to a single location. Plans for relocation will impact on other businesses within the Burall Group, but no further details are available at this time.
