Catchpoint at Packaging Innovations, NEC Birmingham

Catchpoint was first demonstrated at TOTAL in Birmingham a year ago. Since then, the labeling solution has undergone significant technicaldevelopment and is once again on show for all interested parties to see atPackaging Innovations 2005.
The globally patented solution has been developed in order to provide printers and packers with an affordable, efficient and environmentally positive labeling system. The Catchpoint solution is a unique process that enables self-adhesive labels to be produced without backing web or liner.  By doing this, Catchpoint immediately produces dramatic reductions in the cost of production.  As new waste control regulations begin to tighten, this new process reduces the amount of waste self adhesive labels create - by over 90 per cent.  Additionally, the amount of labels produced and stored on a single roll is increased, resulting in less bulk and more label per roll – with immediate shipping and storage advantages.
Catchpoint will be exhibiting at the Sessions of York stand, where the new patented applicator for Catchpoint labels is being demonstrated.
