CCL Label, Inc., of Toronto, Ontario, has contracted with Precision AirConvey (PAC) to purchase a custom engineered automated label matrix removal system. To be installed this February in CCL’s Colliersville, Tennessee facility, which is under construction and scheduled to come online during 2007, the label matrix removal system is to automatically capture pressure sensitive and other label matrix waste at 15 presses, cut it into little pieces and pneumatically convey it from the multiple sources directly to a series of waste and recycling balers and containers while removing any airborne dust particles.

CCL has purchased numerous label matrix removal systems from Precision AirConvey for its facilities worldwide and its management considered their flawless operation over many years among the key factors in awarding this contract to the company, according to Doug Ulbrich, director of facilities and engineering for CCL. ‘We have been very pleased with the performance of our matrix removal systems,’ said Ulbrich, ‘but it’s their invaluable expertise, commitment to personal service and their track record in meeting installation deadlines that makes this a true partnership.’
