CCL Label begins construction of Chinese facility

CCL Label has begun construction of a facility in China. With a land area of 7,800 square meters and an investment of USD $6 million, CCL Label (Tianjin) is expected to commence production on March 31 2010. 

The company will deploy ‘advanced technology and equipment as well as scientific management methods to develop, produce and process packaging materials and other related products, and offer after-sale services’, according to a statement. The output value of its medical labels will amount to 60 million Yuan, says the company. 

With headquarters in Toronto, Canada, CCL Industries has three companies in China, respectively located in Hefei, Guangzhou and Tianjin
