CFH has become the latest UK printer to acquire a ColorMatic ink dosing machine. Designed and built in Norway, the system boasts the latest in technology with its patented mixer head capable of dosing offset or UV ink recipes quickly and accurately time and time again. Db Machinery, the UK sales agent for ColorMatic, came about the machine five years ago when its sister company Denny Bros purchased one for its own use.

‘With rising ink costs in a highly competitive market, ColorMatic provides the edge to any printing business’, said the company in a statement. ‘The clever computer system includes a fully licensed Pantone Recipe System as well as allowing you to store your customers own recipes.’

Andy Brodrick, director of Conventional Print, said: ‘As part of CFH’s continued strategic growth the ColorMatic ID-2500 was an obvious choice. Enhancing both quality and consistency of color it is the perfect partner to our recently acquired Drent VSOP. With the combined technologies these investments bring, CFH are once again raising the bar in print quality.’
