Chesapeake awarded at PICA
Chesapeake Printing and Packaging Company (CP&P), formerly Green Printing and Packaging, won 18 awards at The Printing Industry of the Carolinas (PICA) annual award competition for printing excellence in 2005.
CP&P received awards for various printing projects that showcase a broad range of printing and packaging capabilities and finishing techniques including folding cartons, foil stamping, specialty packaging coatings, self-promotion products and branded product line packaging. The North Carolina, USA-based converter won 13 best of category awards, two special judges awards, two awards of excellence and a prestigious sponsored award, its first ever in that category.
‘Our winning entries in the 2005 PICA competition are a testament to the breadth and depth of our capabilities,’ said Troy Turley, general manager of CP&P. ‘More importantly, they're a tribute to the hard working and highly skilled professionals within our ranks.’

CP&P currently employs more than 80 people and is located in a 100,000 square-foot facility at 101 Lexington Parkway in Lexington, North Carolina.
