Labelexpo Asia, the largest label industry exhibition in the region, will be taking place from 28-30 November 2007 in Shanghai. Labelexpo Asia 2007 is expected to welcome over 12,000 visitors and 350 exhibitors this November to the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre. Visitors will see Asia’s largest gathering of label printing machinery, technologies and materials all under one roof.

Exhibitors at the show include: HP, The Beiren Group, Basch Group, Qingzhou Ekofa, Weifang DongHang, Yupo Corporation, King Label Adhesive Products, Shanghai Purlux, Mark Andy, Avery Dennison, Gallus, Nilpeter, Omet, Exxon Mobil, Gidue, UPM Raflatac, Rotometrics, Rotoflex, Labelmen, DuPont and Xsys Print Solutions, to name a few.

Roger Pellow, Labelexpo managing director, said:  ‘The greater Asian region has been one of the powerhouses behind the global growth of label materials and technology in recent years. China alone now accounts for over 14 percent of global label consumption – and is still growing rapidly at up to 15 percent each year. It is within this environment, that we are delighted to provide the label industry with a forum to meet, do business and exchange new ideas.’

The last Labelexpo show in 2005 was a great success with thousands of visitors coming from over 70 countries with large delegations from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
