Cincinnati label printer invests in Nilpeter FG

The Printing Plant, a Cincinnati, Ohio-based printer of prime labels for the food and health & beauty markets, has purchased a 10-color FG 4200 flexographic printing press from Nilpeter USA. The FG has a 16 inch web width configuration featuring light weight sleeve technology, replacing traditional heavier printing cylinders. This sleeve system increases productivity by reducing make ready time and waste during job set-up.

‘The UV ink curing system and the electronic auto registration options give The Printing Plant the capability to offer the highest level of image reproduction as required by their premier customer base,’ said a spokesperson for Nilpeter in a statement. 

The FG 4200 is the second 16 inch FG press sold in the USA and will be installed in late September 2009.
