CMM to launch RFID webcast
An hour-long, online presentation entitled ‘Security and RFID Issues & Trends – How will RFID Affect Your Business?’ will be the first in a series of webcasts offered by CMM International on October 12.
The webcast is designed to provide converters with the opportunity to learn how other converters have successfully applied RFID technology in their business process. The webcast will focus on the recent shift to RFID technology as an industry practice and the cost-effectiveness of placing deadlines on the transfer to RFID technology for converting companies.
Tom Hartmann, RFID manager of Topflight Corporation, is scheduled to be the main presenter at the event and other RFID experts will soon be announced. Other key topics that will be examined during the webcast include:
• Are bar codes becoming obsolete?
• How will RFID technologies move from case/skid slap and ship labels to product level packaging?
• How can you be sure you are ahead of the curve on RFID adoption?
‘This will be a very valuable webcast as it is rare to have converters share their personal experiences and successes about implementing RFID technology,’ said Keith Hevenor, editorial and conference director for CMM International.
CMM International will present the RFID webcast as part of a series of online presentations on cutting-edge topics that are re-shaping the global converting industry. Information for participants interested in registering for the free webcast is available on the CMM International 2007 website.
