MPS celebrates sales of 1000th press

Leeds based Watershed becomes proud owner of the 1000th MPS machine.

MPS has sold its 1000th machine to Watershed, family-owned business based in Leeds, UK, with an additional facility in Wales. For over 15 years, Watershed has been a loyal MPS customer, having invested in nine MPS machines over time.

Watershed specializes in shrink sleeve and wrap-around label printing, with recent ventures into the yogurt and dairy lidding markets.

The acquisition of the MPS machine H1000 signifies Watershed's continuous commitment to advancing production capabilities and maintaining its status as industry leaders. This machine empowers Watershed to offer high-quality and efficient products to its clientele.

John Waters, owner at Watershed, said: ‘Our long-standing partnership with MPS is a testament to our shared commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. This addition plays a pivotal role in our expansion strategy, enabling us to meet the evolving demands of our clients across shrink sleeve, wrap-around label, and dairy lidding markets.’

Nick Tyrer, managing director of MPS Systems UK, noted: ‘It seems fitting that a company that has been with us since the start is now purchasing the 1000th machine from us. This press stands as the pinnacle of MPS technology, symbolizing a significant investment in both the machine itself and the performance programs that form the foundation of all our latest platforms.’
