Denny Bros wins expert business consultancy from academic institutions
In a move which should open label converters’ eyes to the possibilities of leveraging resources from academic institutions, Denny Bros has been given access to expert business consultancy from the East of England’s top academics. i10 is a network of ten Higher Education Institutions in the East of England who have joined forces to make their academic expertise available to businesses. It invited companies to complete the on-line ‘MAPSme’ survey, created specifically to measure innovation.
Dr Elly Philpott, University of Luton researcher and i10 MAPSme project leader said: ‘Keeping innovation flowing is crucial to ensure businesses stay ahead of their competitors and secure long term economic growth and profitability. Successful companies like Denny Bros understand the importance of innovation. Over the next few months, the MAPSme project team will be working with the company to identify how i10 can help them to be more successful in achieving their business goals.’
Barry Denny, managing director for Denny Bros, said: ‘I am delighted to have won business consultancy from i10. We have always considered innovation to be an important part of our business as it keeps our ideas fresh. We have never previously considered tapping into the knowledge of higher education institutions, but we are looking forward to working with i10 and feel that it will prove to be very valuable to our business.’
