EFI targeting strategic acquisitions in 2013
- Looking to continue momentum generated by purchase of MIS and web-to-print firms

- Connect 2013 largest yet with more than 1,100 attendees

Digital printing specialist EFI will seek out strategic acquisitions in 2013 as it looks to continue its growth.

Speaking during the company’s recent Connect conference, chief executive officer Guy Gecht (pictured, top) said EFI is looking to continue the momentum generated from deals to purchase companies such as web-to-print and dynamic publishing firm Online Print Solutions and print MIS/ERP provider Technique with more strategic acquisitions in the coming months.

Gecht has already stated his excitement for the year ahead after EFI reported record results in 2012.

The 2013 Connect conference has been hailed as the largest ever, with more than 1,100 customers, employees and industry experts attending the four-day Las Vegas event.

It is intended to educate and expand attendees’ knowledge of EFI products. This year’s conference featured more than 150 sessions covering MIS/ERP software, web-to-print systems, industrial inkjet printers and Fiery technology.
