Geostick orders trio of WS6600 digital presses

Geostick has invested in three HP Indigo WS6600 digital presses to upgrade its operations.
The Dutch label printer already operates with a portfolio of HP Indigo WS6000 digital presses, as well as conventional presses. It was also the first Dutch printer to be HD Flexo certified.
The WS6600 presses will include in-line priming, which the company heard more about at the recent inaugural Dscoop EMEA conference, Print United.
Dscoop is an independent global community of graphic arts business owners and technical professionals who use HP Indigo and Scitex equipment and related solutions. It is focused on educating and connecting its members with each other, and with HP, to improve members’ business growth, efficiency and profitability.
Geostick is a member by virtue of its existing fleet of HP Indigo presses, while technical director Cees Schouten serves as the forums co-chairman on the Dscoop EMEA board of directors.
After speaking with its peers at Print United, Geostick chose to make the investment immediately after the conference, which took place in Barcelona, Spain.
The WS6600 presses will upgrade the company’s existing operations. Geostick hopes to have the first WS6600 installed in December.
