- Landa and Heidelberg join speaker program for 65th TAGA annual technical conference
- TAGA ATC takes place February 3-6 in Portland, Oregon
Gilad Tzori, vice president of product strategy at Landa Digital Printing, and Martin Schmitt-Lewen, head of technologies for future business at Heidelberg, have joined the speaker schedule for the 65th annual technical conference of the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA).
The TAGA technical conference takes place on February 3-6, with four keynotes taking place on the opening afternoon.
Schmitt-Lewen will address “New Applications for Print”, and look at the development of new print applications including in-line refinement for sheet-fed offset presses, new combination printing processes for special effects, security features and printed electronics.
These processes were shown by Heidelberg at Drupa 2012 through its Innovation Gallery, which it has now installed at its research and development building in Heidelberg, Germany, as featured in Package Print Worldwide issue #3 2012, and here.
Landa’s Tzori will present “Nanography – Changing the Face of the Mainstream Print Market”, and describe the technology behind nanography and how it is poised to make digital printing competitive with offset in terms of quality, speed and cost.
They will supplement further keynote sessions on the latest developments in printed electronics and going beyond standard inkjet printing, as well as presentations from a further 25 industry and academic presenters across the four-day conference on developments in inks, paper, workflow automation, inkjet, flexography, lithography, web portals, color measurement, printed electronics and more.
