Landa will not exhibit at international shows as it looks to fulfill existing demand

- Landa latest name to confirm it will not attend Ipex

 

- More than 400 orders already on its books

 

Benny Landa’s new digital printing venture will not exhibit at the next Ipex, although he will deliver a keynote speech at an event running parallel to the tradeshow.

 

As such, there will be no dedicated exhibition space for the Landa Nanographic Printing process, which was unveiled at Drupa this year to much acclaim, at Ipex 2014. The news follows other exhibitors, namely Heidelberg, HP and Xerox, who have already confirmed their non-attendance at Ipex 2014.

 

Many of those not exhibiting have cited strategic reasons for the decision, such as wanting to reach customers at market-specific, regional events, although Landa has said its reason is more basic; in order to allow it to meet the demand it has encountered since launching nanography at Drupa 2012.

 

In fact, demand has been so strong that, with printers and converters around the world signing letters of intent to take one of the futuristic-looking presses, Landa has confirmed it has no intention to exhibit at any international tradeshow in the near future.

 

In a statement, the company said: ‘We are focusing all of our attention and resources on preparing Nanographic Printing presses for shipment to our customers.

 

‘As we are in a unique position with over 400 orders in hand, exhibiting at international tradeshows is not currently required to meet our business objectives.

 

‘The company is committed, however, to keeping the industry fully informed about nanography and in the case of Ipex, Benny Landa will deliver a keynote presentation at the Ipex Global Print Summit that runs alongside the show.’

 

Benny Landa has already spoken about the development curve for the Landa Nanographic Printing process up to Drupa 2016, where the company is expected to exhibit once more.

 

Other Landa company executives have also been travelling the world to present the digital printing process, and discuss its potential.
