VIPColor to showcase digital applications at Labelexpo Europe

US-based VIPColor Technologies will showcase a variety of digital applications on its new VIPColor 485e on demand label printer at Labelexpo Europe 2009 in Brussels in September. Key features include printing speeds up to 4 ips, large separate ink tanks to reduce cost and waste, full bleed for professional quality, 4800 x 1200 dpi and simple set-up and operation from roll or fanfold labelstock.
‘The VIPColor 485e enables total labeling flexibility from as little as one to thousands of labels,’ said European reseller director Jules Farkas. ‘Many of our manufacturing customers create and customize labels for their clients. With the VIPColor 485e they have the ability to either re-brand a product or link it to a special event in order to broaden its appeal. Some customers also use the printer’s vibrant color labels to intuitively identify a product’s location, expiration date, handling level, product range, or make or model. At Labelexpo Europe visitors to our stand will be able to view demonstrations featuring a range of innovative, industry specific labels being printed.’
The VIPColor 485e is optimized for the production of labels with variable color, images, text and barcode content and can generate customized product and package labels for events, special occasions or private branding. It is also suited to applications for gourmet food, beverage, sauces, food supplements, medical devices, hardware, colored shoe box labels and apparel price tags.
