DW Renzmann reports record sales in lead up to Labelexpo
In the run-up to Labelexpo Europe 2007 in Brussels, the cleaning system provider DW Renzmann has announced its latest sales record for the CLEANfleXs washing machine.
Since the start of production three years ago, the compact cleaning system, which is especially designed for narrow web printing, was consigned to over 25 customers in Europe.
An increasing number of customers demands lower production quantities from their label printer. Necessarily, this leads to frequent color changes which are associated with extensive and costly shut-downs. Often the manual cleaning of printing press parts is a bottle neck in the production of labels.
‘The easy use of the CLEANfleXs helps to reduce such inactive periods and to realize a remarkable increase in productivity,’ said the company in a statement. ‘Additionally, by the complete integration into the daily cleaning process the washing machine lowers the number of deficient products significantly.’
Michael Schnei, managing director, DW Renzmann Apparatebau, said: ‘Besides the strong argument of cost savings, the insurance of a constantly high product quality plays an important role for our customers. In the past few months the demand for the CLEANfleXs in the European markets has come along well. Especially in the field of flexo printing we see a growing demand for cost-efficient and easy to handle cleaning solutions.’
Part of the compact washing machine’s success traces back to a cooperation with KS Chemie, a manufacturer of chemicals for the industrial cleaning and pretreatment of surfaces. The cleaning media which are used in the CLEANfleXs have a flashpoint higher than 55degC and were developed together with the Dsseldorf-based company. The solvents are tailored directly to the needs of the customers of DW Renzmann and provide for an easy cleaning of UV-based colors as well as offset colors.
Both companies underline their close and successful cooperation by joining the same booth at Labelexpo Europe 2007.
