Edale will host an Open House and Suppliers Exhibition at its premises in Hampshire, UK, on 8 February 2012. The company will officially open its second unit, with the local Mayor and Mayoress of Fareham attending to cut the ribbon and open the event.

Fifteen suppliers – Alphasonics, API Foils, Creation Reprographics, Cheshire Engraving, Daco Solutions, EskoArtwork, Fiberweb, GEW, Herma, JM Heaford, IST, Rotometrics, Tesa Tapes, Vetaphone and Zeller & Gmellin – will exhibit at the table-top event. There will also be presentations throughout the day from companies introducing new technologies in the market place. John Bambery, chairman of BPIF Labels, will also present as a guest speaker.

The new FL-350 press, suitable for printing flexible packaging film, and a FDC-510 flatbed die-cutting machine for cutting and creasing packaging materials, will be available for demonstration, as well as a Gamma scratch card line which can be configured to include different options such as a screen printing unit, thermal inkjet and personalization systems. Visitors will also see three Beta modular presses and two Alpha compact flexo presses which are being finalized in Edale’s production department.

Customers of all of the suppliers will be able to tour the company’s factory, showroom and offices as well as assist in live demos. The open day will make up one day of the Distributors Training Schedule and see distributors increase knowledge on Edale products and those of its suppliers.
