Edelmann narrow web presses introduced in North America

Matik North America, the exclusive distributor for Edelmann Graphics, has launched the latest generation of shaft-less narrow web offset presses from Edelmann in North America.

There are four machines in the range, including the Color Print series which is available in web widths of 20 ” and 28 1/3” with print repeats of 16” to 48”. Hybrid press configurations are available along with a wide range of converting options.

The presses operate on ‘open architecture’ network which allows for ‘seamless integration’ of OEM units as well as quick retrofits. Ink profiles can be uploaded directly to the press via CIP3/4 and a modem allows for speedy support intervention if required.

All variants of drying systems are available depending on the need, regulation and application, including UV, EB, IR and hot air.
