Essae Technologys embark on flexo label printing with Etirama FlexoTop

Etirama has installed its 6 1 color Central Impression flexographic label press at Essae Technologys, Bangalore. The rotary machine will supplement the current flat bed label printing facilities of the company.

Etirama’s FlexoTop 250 mm is a 6 color CI flexo label press for printing on variety of substrates including self adhesive materials, papers, board, aluminum foils and flexible films. It has the option of six colors front printing or four colors front printing and two colors back printing with maximum printing speed of up to 100 meters per minute. The varnish applicator is an independent station and can be alternatively used as 7th color for overprinting. The machine is equipped with inter-station hot air drying system and final drying by IR Dryer apart from UV drying unit. The converting section comprises of triple die cut station, sheeter with conveyer belt/stacker and online slitting facilities.

‘To augment our label production capacity for the domestic and export markets, we were looking for a multi-color rotary machine with UV curing/varnish and in-line slitting. We get all of this and more in Etirama FlexoTop plus the option of two color back printing. This new addition will certainly improve the quality offered to our customers,’ said Narsimha Subramanian, managing director, Essae Technologys.
