Expansion plans unveiled for auto-ID and labeling company

The Label Store UK has unveiled its growth plans including a new manufacturing unit, extra capacity, and the appointment of two key staff members, furthering the company's expansion within the label manufacturing, barcode printing and auto-id equipment market.
The operation expansion will begin with the acquisition of a new 1,700 square meter facility which will be used to increase capacity by over a third for label manufacturing, along with providing new conference facilities and a customer focus center for label store customers and prospects. Further projects are in the pipeline and this first phase is set to be complete by 2009.
Two new business development and technical experts, Trevor Christie and Steve Parsons have been appointed, following the appointment of sales and marketing director Andrew Mansfield in April.
Mansfield has brought over 25 years of labeling and printing experience to the label store, enjoying successful previous business development roles at BT Labels, TPL Labels and McGavigans. He said, ‘I am incredibly excited at the new challenges ahead of me; the potential for growth was obvious for me.’
