Members of FINAT’s Young Managers’ Club will ‘feel the future’ when they meet in Barcelona on March 23, says the self-adhesive label association.

The FINAT Young Managers’ Club is for executives who are under 40 years of age and was created to help develop the label industry’s managers of tomorrow. Its members will get hands-on experience of the next generation of technology at a special HP workshop at that company’s Barcelona headquarters.

The club was launched at FINAT’s 50th anniversary congress in Paris last year, and the March meeting at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I, in Barcelona, will be the first full-scale gathering to devise a clearly defined program and strategy for the coming years. It will also elect its first young management board.

At the India Label Show in New Delhi in December, so much interest was expressed in the club and its potential that FINAT is now considering creating a special India ‘chapter’ for members in that region.

The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Digital Label Summit 2009. Details of how to join the YMC can be found at www.finat.com.
