APR expands product portfolio with SEI Laser partnership

All Printing Resources (APR) will begin representing SEI Laser for its flexible packaging products in the US beginning in 2024 to expand its product portfolio of flexographic equipment. 

SEI Laser’s flexible packaging products are highlighted by the PackMaster and PackMaker family of products, featuring solutions for laser cutting, scoring, and macro and micro-perforating products.  

SEI offers multiple products including easy-open, window packaging, micro/macro perforation for easy ventilation, and MAP, and can accommodate both single or multi-layer films like PE, PET, PP, nylon, and PTFE, as well as paper. 

The Packmaster and PackMaker Laser systems offer accuracy in the material removal depth, through cut, micro holes, and the repeatability of the process. High production speeds can be reached, and the full digital processing allows a direct work change with reportedly a reduction in set-up times.  

PackMaker is SEI’s new system enables flexible packaging companies to have a versatile system that is able to perform in both cross-web and web-direction jobs. This all-in-one system is suitable for those interested in micro-perforation (hole run mode system), along with other standard applications on flexible packaging. 

Integrating the SEI Laser flexible packaging product line strengthens APR’s product lineup.
