Czech converter to install Rotocontrol rewinder

Rotocontrol has received an order from S&K Label, a converter based in the Czech Republic, for an RSC slitter rewinder of 440mm web width equipped with a vacuum splice table. Local service and support will be provided through Digitisk, Rotocontrol’s agent for the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.  

Present during an on-site product presentation at S&K Label’s headquarters in Kurim were Karel Sehnal, S&K Label’s managing director; Jaroslav Blaha, operations director; Jan Rytir, purchasing and logistic manager; Petr Zika from Digitisk; and Michael Aengenvoort, business development manager at Rotocontrol.  

Jaroslav Blaha commented: ‘S&K Label invests in leading narrow web equipment. Our finishing capacity required expansion, and we selected Rotocontrol due to their superior technology. Features like servo drives from Bosch Rexroth, the efficiency and speed of the vacuum splice table option for clean, accurate finished roll splices, and providing a local agent (Digitisk) for support and service were key factors in the decision.’     

S&K Labels produces self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging on 12 flexo printing machines and two digital printing machines.
