Edale appoints distributor in Australia

Edale, the UK-based manufacturer of narrow web printing and converting presses, has appointed Daycon Distributors as its new representative in Australia.   

Daycon Distributors is a family-owned company based on the Gold Coast, specializing in label and flexo printing equipment. The company is also the agent for Daco Solutions, and both Edale and Daycon felt that the inclusion of the Edale range of presses sat well alongside Daco’s range of converting and slitting machines. 

Troy Connolly of Daycon said: ‘My goal is to try and get some sort of relationship back with the current owners of Edale machines. I think Edale have a great package, particularly in the Alpha as an entry level machine – which I will initially be promoting. If customers already own a press and they are happy with the product and the service there is a bigger chance of buying again, hence why my priority will be to build back relationships with current Edale owners.’ 

An Edale Alpha has been installed at Daycon’s office, so potential customers are able to see demonstrations of the machine under normal production conditions.
