First Impression opts for Rotocontrol RSC slitter

First Impression in South Africa has installed a Rotocontrol RSC 440mm web width slitting rewinding machine. The company specializes in high quality, flexographic printing for the shrink-sleeve, wraparound, roll fed and self-adhesive label market.

The order was negotiated with Vaughan Cumming, operations director of First Impression and Pascal Aengenvoort, director of Rotocon, the local agent for Rotocontrol throughout South Africa.

Cumming commented: ‘We opted for the Rotocontrol RSC slitter rewinder machine as it is designed with an exceptional servo drive system, and we can count on Pascal and the Rotocon team to provide ongoing local service and support. The installation was uncomplicated and after only one day of training our operator could run the machine independently.’

The RSC series offers features such as cartridge slitting system, vertical inspection zone, automatic tension control, S-Drive servo driven operation, job save, and simple, functional controls.
