Lemorau looks to Labelexpo Europe

Portugal-based finishing equipment manufacturer Lemorau will exhibit for the first time at a Labelexpo show this September in Brussels.

The highlight of the company’s presence at the event will be the latest version of its EB-260 die-cutting machine. Available at web widths of 250 and 330 mm and running at speeds of up to 200m/min, the EB-260 features an automatic web tension control system, semi-automatic rewinding and an energy saving system. Dual rewinding allows different labels of varying diameters to be handled at the same time. Die-cut to register is available as an option.

According to sales manager Pedro Teixeira, the company’s presence at the event is part of a strategy to increase its footprint outside its local market. The company has a ‘solid presence’ in Portugal as well as distributors in Italy and North Africa.

‘Exhibiting at Labelexpo Europe will open new markets for our machines,’ said Teixeira. ‘It’s a chance to show our technology to attendees and to create partnerships with new distributors.

‘We believe our equipment is interesting to the market because it offers quality, customization, competitive prices and attractive design.’

Lemorau was founded in 1987. Based in Porto, the company manufactures die-cutting machines, slitter rewinders, inspection systems, core cutters and roll lifters.
