Flexo Concepts expands QuikShips program

Flexo Concepts, manufacturers of TruPoint brand doctor blades and MicroClean anilox roll cleaning systems, has announced the expansion of its QuikShips 24-hour fulfillment program to include MicroClean plastic media.

The company manufactures various types of the consumable media for use in the MicroClean anilox roll cleaning systems. Introduced in 2004, the QuikShips program was designed to help corrugated printers reduce doctor blade inventory by guaranteeing 24-hour fulfillment on orders. The program will now be extended to MicroClean media customers in conjunction with the company's philosophy of delivering quality products quickly and consistently.

The expansion of the QuikShips program follows the recent opening of a second warehouse in Ohio. The company now ships its plastic media from here as well as its Massachusetts headquarters, ensuring one to two-day delivery for US customers and reducing freight costs.

The company anticipates the opening of a third site on the West Coast later this year.
