Clemson University’s Department of Graphic Communications will host the FFTA/Clemson Flexographic Process Printing Symposium, September 20-22, 2006.

In this two and a half day symposium participants will learn the steps to optimize, characterize, measure and manage flexographic color printing in a production environment using the proven techniques of process control. Hands-on breakout sessions teach best practices for densitometry, spectrophotometry, documentation and press side color evaluations as well as profiling basics. Beginner to advanced production and management personnel, prepress, sales and customer service staff for printers and industry suppliers have all benefited from this training.

The session in March drew more than 50 attendees and over 15 industry experts and panelist offering a dynamic setting for discussions, networking and troubleshooting advice. The program is co-sponsored by the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association.

And early registration rate of $695 (a $100 savings) is available by July 21st, 2006. Groups of three or more start at just $595 per person by July 21st. The regular individual rate is $795.
