Focus Label Machinery has appointed Terra-Print Group to take over as its sales agency for Russia. The  Terra-Print group of companies was founded in 1997 as a family owned company with headquarters in Moscow. Today, Terra-Print has offices in all major regions of Russia and the Focus brand will be promoted under the Print & Packaging arm of the group.

Negotiations have been taking place for the past six months. Focus sales manager Antony Cotton explained that Russia has traditionally been a strong market, but in recent years, the company’s former representatives had merged a number of times and the Focus brand was being lost under the number of additional products they were handling. He said: ‘We felt the customer was the one losing out and with our new range of equipment it was time to start a fresh approach, which will be beneficial to all parties.’

Terra-Print has already secured its first sales of Focus equipment, with orders for Centraflex and Proflex presses to be installed shortly. During a recent trip to the UK, Michail Nesterenko, CEO of Terraprint, confirmed: ‘We are delighted to be appointed as official representatives for Focus in Russia. We have been aware of the quality and popularity of Focus presses for a number of years, and we see this as a great opportunity for both companies to expand sales in Russia. As a representative, we work only with professional manufacturers, offering high quality equipment and service. We have already completed our first sales and we expect to secure more orders in the near future. We are excited about this new partnership.’
