FractureCode recognized for innovation with PISEC award
Track & trace technology provider FractureCode Corporation, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, has underlined its growing reputation for innovation in the brand protection market, with a prestigious award from leading industry body PISEC, presented at its global product and image security convention, held in Barcelona in October.
FractureCode won the award for Best Practice in Product and Brand Protection for its powerful cross-platform track & trace solution, which provides item level ID and product authentication.
PISEC is sponsored by The Product & Image Security Foundation, which operates with more than 100 members in 27 countries and is the only international forum of its kind for manufacturers, suppliers and users of labels, tags, packaging, identification systems, materials and systems for any form of product security, brand image protection or product traceability applications and technology.
Jeremy Plimmer, chairman of PISEC 06, commented: ‘What impressed the judges most about FractureCode was the simplicity of the process which can deliver a multiplicity of random codes from existing print platforms without investing in personalization technology. Such codes can then be used to provide authentication and track & trace data throughout the supply chain.’
More brand owners and end users than ever before attended this year’s PISEC, further confirming its growing importance as a crucial forum for the brand protection market. Accordingly, the accolade is a major achievement for FractureCode.
‘We are delighted to be recognized by our peers at PISEC for our commitment to Best Practice in Product and Brand Protection,’ commented Richard Burhouse, marketing manager of FractureCode. ‘We feel that our product offers huge benefits to both brand owners and security document producers, and this award is warmly welcomed.’
