FTA unveils free mobile app for Forum & Info*Flex

FTA has released its ‘FTA Events' app, a cross-platform, native application for web-enabled smartphones and tablets.

Designed for attendees at the 54^th Annual Forum and 30th Anniversary Info*Flex Exhibition, March 18-2 in San Antonio, the app is a tool for navigating Forum’s comprehensive program agenda, and the sold-out Info*Flex show floor.

‘The FTA Events app is just the latest example of how FTA is keeping on the cutting-edge,’ said Mark Cisternino, FTA/FFTA president. ‘It’s intuitive, easy to explore, and because it’s a native app, once you install it, it doesn’t require an active Internet connection.’

The app features the complete program agenda that, with a simple touch, allows users to find and add a particular session or event to their personal calendars. A booth at the Info*Flex Exhibition can be ‘bookmarked’ or marked as ‘visited’ on the interactive map of the show floor. Exhibitors can also be easily located using the alphabetical listing of exhibitors.

Additionally, the app lists information about FTA’s upcoming events, news items, and its Forum & Info*Flex Platinum Plus and Platinum sponsors, as well as an extensive city guide of San Antonio – complete with information on restaurants, nightlife, shopping and weather.
